Send me an email to contact me; theone [at] thejimgaudet [dot] comGetting old…
It’s hard to believe I will be turning 32 this December. Did you know that I have been an MCSE since 1996? Holy shit, that’s 13 years! I forget how long I have been working in IT.
Brief History
Starting my career with a local computer company (CCI) in Claremont, NH. I spent three great years here and can’t thank Mike Demars enough for the opportunity and knowledge his company gave to me. I met some great friends there, whom I am still in contact with today. Within 3 months of being a low level technician, I was promoted to service manager and had a few techs under me. Basically we built new computers, fixed viruses, etc… You know, a local computer service center. Working in a small town computer shop was becoming boring for me. I wanted to work on some big equipment, on some real networks.
I am off to California..
I found a job at CEUT, an investment banking company based in NY, but with offices in San Francisco and Colorado. Being a network administrator for them was a great step up from service manager. Much easier, actually. This is an okay job, but this job that has a ceiling, and that wasn’t going to work for me.
So I am off to Massachusetts to start my consulting company. With a little planning I was able to start a company, get some important government clients, hire a couple hands to help and I am now a successful business owner. Living well enough to move to Costa Rica and manage my companies from there.
Current Status
Personal company is going well. So well in fact that I have ventured into other businesses. Currently I have another consulting / software development company (JG Software and Consulting) in Massachusetts. Forget the website, it needs to be updated. Working on it, when I get time..
I have also dipped my money into a credit repair company (Fast and Reliable Credit Repair). I am not going to sell anyone here on my site. You should know that you CAN do you own credit repair for FREE and it is your right to do so. Our company does not tell you anything different. We are just like a Jiffy Lube. Everyone knows how to change their oil, but they will pay someone to do it. We are just a service to help those people who are too busy to take care of it themselves.
For the future, I am working on my website and search engine optimization skills. I currently have a few clients in Costa Rica with 6 websites, 2 databases and SEO for the sites. So, my local work is going well. Once I gain some status with these site, then I can promote that and that will be what I do when I do not want to consult anymore.
Web Community Engagement
I seriously think that web community engagement will the driving force of a successful business in the future. So, come see what I am doing out there….
